October Count is the period sanctioned by Colorado’s legislature for school administrators to tally all students and determine official enrollment figures. The count is done for school funding purposes; if a student is not physically present during the count period, the school does not receive per-pupil funding for the child.
This year, our state pupil count runs from September 26 through October 10.
It is extremely important that students attend school each day during October Count. Parents, please make every attempt for your child(ren) to be in attendance so that Mesa receives full funding for 2018-2019. Thank you.
Starting in October, Mesa will have a Spirit Wear Day on the first Friday of every month. This new tradition begins Friday, October 5. Show your Mesa Spirit and Mustang Pride by joining in on the fun!
